Dies ist der Remix eines Stückes von Family 5 vom 2016er Album „Was zählt“. Mit Family 5 bin ich seit vielen Jahren locker verbunden und habe auch auf dem ein oder anderen Stück mitgeholfen (Backing Vocals, Mix, Pre-production…).
Für mich war das einer der stärksten Songs des Albums, der großartige Text kann unterschiedlich interpretiert werden. In meinem Fall erinnerte er mich an den Tod meiner Mutter ein Jahr zuvor. Janie besingt die verpassten Chancen miteinander zu reden: „Zu spät“. Stattdessen spricht er nun mit seinen Erinnerungen, wie ich auch...

This is a Remix of a song from the 2016 release “Family 5 - Was zählt". A band, I have been connected to for some years, contributing to their work from time to time (Backing Vocals, Mix, Pre-production…).
To me, this track is one of the strongest of the album and touched me from the first moment. The great lyrics can be read in different ways. In my case it helped me in the loss of my mother, which died a year ago. As Janie sings “Too late”, meaning that chances are gone to talk to each other while living, he is now instead talking to his memories. Reminded me of myself.
